Day 1 - 23 Dec 2026: arrival to Rovaniemi, Finland

Rovaniemi sits on the Arctic Circle, where midwinter darkness turns the forest into a hushed, snow-muffled world. This is Santa's official hometown, and the season around Christmas and New Year brings sled dogs, reindeer, and frozen lakes into full use. Days are short and blue-lit, made for adventures that end by firelight.

Hotel Scandic Pohjanhovi (3 nights, Standard Family Room)

The legendary hotel stands proudly in the heart of Rovaniemi, right by the Kemijoki River. An icon in Lapland’s hotel scene blends northern aesthetics with modern comfort, creating a unique experience where history and modern comfort seamlessly come together.

Day 2 - 24 Dec 2026: Visiting Santa Claus Village

Step into the festive atmosphere of Santa Claus Village, located on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus. Open throughout the year, the village offers visitors the chance to cross the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus, visit the famous Santa Claus Main Post Office and explore a collection of shops, cafés and seasonal attractions.

Day 4 - 26 Dec 2026: arrival to Levi, Finland

After a comfortable and scenic transfer, you will arrive to snowy Levi, where crisp mountain air and glittering snowscapes set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Break Sokos Hotel Levi (7 nights, Superior X TWN room with extra bed)

In the heart of Lapland, just 170 km north of the Arctic Circle, lies Break Sokos Hotel Levi, an oasis of warmth and comfort surrounded by breath-taking Arctic landscapes. More than a hotel, it is a place to pause, recharge, and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of Levi.

Day 5 - 27 Dec 2026: Husky Trails Through the Snow

Meet the enthusiastic huskies at the farm, eager and ready to do what they love most: run through the snowy wilderness. Before setting off, your guide will give clear instructions on how to handle the sled and work as a team with the dogs, turning you into a real Arctic musher. Once the adventure begins, glide through silent white forests and open landscapes, led by a powerful team of huskies. One guest drives the sled while the other rides as a passenger, with the option to switch roles halfway through the route. The experience offers both excitement and connection with nature, surrounded by the pure tranquility of Lapland. After returning to the farm, enjoy a moment with the dogs: pet them, take photos, and learn more about their training and life in the Arctic.

Driving with dogs takes itself about 45-60 min, total duration about 2 h.

Day 6 - 28 Dec 2026: Snowmobile Adventure

Today enjoy a snowmobile adventure!

Begin a snowmobile winter trail ride through the winter landscapes of Lapland, riding across frozen rivers and lakes, through snowy forests and around the region’s iconic fells. The tour combines scenic riding with moments to pause, enjoy the scenery, and take in the quiet atmosphere of the arctic wilderness. Duration: around 2 hours.

N.B. A valid B driving license required, participants must be at least 18 years old.

For children - a heated sledge for a comfortable ride, warm drinks & snacks incl.

Day 7 - 29 Dec 2026: Private Reindeer Safari

Reindeer have moved through the Lapland wilderness for thousands of years, and this private safari brings you into their world. A local guide shares the traditions of Arctic herding across snow-covered terrain, followed by a one kilometre reindeer ride, the chance to feed the animals by hand and a visit to the farm museum.

Day 8 - 30 Dec 20256: Private Ice Karting

Experience one of Lapland’s most exciting winter activities on a purpose-built ice karting track. Equipped with studded tyres designed for icy conditions, the karts offer a unique driving experience where skill, control, and a sense of adventure come into play. Combining speed, drifting, and friendly competition, ice karting is a fun way to experience motorsport in a true Arctic setting. Duration: estimated 1 hour

N.B. All drivers must be at least 145 cm tall. Driving license is not required.

Optional snow tubing activity (not incl):

Snow tubing is a huge hit among the little ones of the family. Two colorfully lit slides of different lengths offer good fun for everyone of all ages.

Day 9 - 31 Dec 2026: Celebrating New Year in Lapland 2027

There's no better place to welcome a new year than beneath the northern lights. This New Year's Eve in Lapland brings together the warmth of Nordic hospitality, the raw beauty of the Arctic winter and a midnight countdown lit by fireworks over the snow.

Levi is Lapland's premier ski destination, offering something for every kind of skier. Groomed downhill slopes wind down from the fell, framed by snow-laden pines and, on clear days, wide views across the Arctic wilderness. Whether you're carving your first turns or chasing steeper runs, the resort's well-maintained pistes and modern lift network make for an effortless day on the mountain.

For those who prefer a quieter rhythm, Levi's network of cross-country trails threads through birch forest and open fell, offering a peaceful, meditative way to take in the winter landscape. Ski poles cutting through fresh snow, the only sound the wind and your own breath: it's a different kind of Arctic adventure, just as memorable as the downhill run.

Equipment, ski passes, and instruction can all be arranged.
